| I didn't realize that cartoon on the Connections and Cables page already existed when I made my cartoon to show how to mount things. Maybe I should use the already-existing cartoon instead, or remix them. |
| jonnew took a look at the content, he said it seems ok. @ChucklesOnGitHub can you take a look, and (edit if necessary/)approve/merge if it looks good to you? |

I've added the product version, but I'm not sure if hs-64 is compatible with v2 of the lighthouses.
-
I've uniformized to "lighthouse", insead of switching between base stations and lighthouses, because that was what seemed to be in use.

I added a comment re: movement b/c that can really stump ppl.

During testing I found a 30cm vertical limit even with the lighthosues super close together. Not sure if this is reproducible, but should be made explicit in the text and diagram because it can look as if it is not working.

In the vive manual it does not state they have to be mounted orthogonally, is this sth that will be explored?
-
"Avoid setting up in an area with bright light, which may negatively affect the performance of the base stations." in here. Is that sth we should warn about too?
|
 not sure either.
Yah agreed. I'm not super sure about how reproducible the 30cm threshold is, but it's worth mentioning that there is a minimum distance.
 Orthogonal to what?
In my experience, it didn't make a significant difference (I tried turning on and off the room lights). Maybe because there is no (natural/IR?) light in the wavelengths that the lighthouse operate. We can mention it anyway though. |

| - Secure the base stations such that they can't be easily jostled or moved. The lighthouses interrupt their emission during movement. |

not just that, but calibration becomes invalid if the lighthouses move.
